Penang embraces modernity while retaining its traditions and old world charm,it is a fascinating fusion of the East and West.

Long regarded as the food capital of Malaysia, Penang also entices visitors with its beautiful coasts and scrumptious cuisines.

George town,it has been listed as a World Heritage site since July 2008.

I had visit to Penang before,but, this is the first time that I had chance to go for a heritage walk in George Town.

KAMPAR: A Chinese culture night attracted around 2000 of students eager to glimpse of the unique culture of Chinese.

The objective of organizing this event is to enable students understand the culture of our Chinese society and enhance students with the four important values of life which is “Li Yi Lian Chi” which is play an important role towards our moral value and attitude.

The open ceremony is start with a lion dance performance, it is a symbolize of Traditional celebration ceremony in the Chinese culture.

Victor Wong (Pin Guan) is the special performer in the culture night.

Ali Bubur behind GAMA, Penang

Ali Bubur stall is located behind GAMA. Apparently Ali Bubur operates more than 40 years of history from the 70 century, as Akbarali Ali follow his father footsteps for this business. He is now 47 years of age and follows his father to learn the cooking of bubur kacang, and is the only successor as well. Besides, Akbarali also consists of Black glutinous rice porridge and gan dong porridge.

Toh Soon Cafe is a small side street cafe situated in the folds of Campbell Street. This cafe has always been a hit with the locals all this while, especially their varieties served for breakfast and tea time. Even the current Penang CM, Mr Lim Guan Eng was seen patronizing this place too.

Cameron Highlands is a beautiful holiday destination and the only place where you can find tea plantations and strawberries in Peninsular Malaysia. At 5,000 ft (1,500 m) above sea level it is the highest area on the mainland, and enjoys a cool climate, with temperatures no higher than 25 degree Celsius and rarely falling below 12 degree Celsius year round. Actually, Cameron Highlands is a district in the state of Pahang Darul Makmur. The size of the whole Cameron Highlands district is roughly as big as two and a quarter Singapore.
