Utar Culture Night

KAMPAR: A Chinese culture night attracted around 2000 of students eager to glimpse of the unique culture of Chinese.

The objective of organizing this event is to enable students understand the culture of our Chinese society and enhance students with the four important values of life which is “Li Yi Lian Chi” which is play an important role towards our moral value and attitude.

The open ceremony is start with a lion dance performance, it is a symbolize of Traditional celebration ceremony in the Chinese culture.

Victor Wong (Pin Guan) is the special performer in the culture night.

Pin Guan advice all the students study hard and cherish the life during University. “The things that you all learned now, there will be a useful in a future,”he said.

Despite of this, There were also some performances presented by Chinese Orchestra Unit, In-Stru-Mix by music club, music club's band, singing performances, martial arts sketch and interaction game program.

Festival Lantern 


The Chinese culture end with the lantern parade, students were carrying lanterns and parade at the sport complex area.

“This program had been achieving their objective which is advocate cultural and traditional,”

"But, Pin Guan was become the focal point on this event, it might be losing some of the meaning to held a cultural event."
