Cambodia stampede kills 351

PHNOM PENH – The number of deaths in Diamond Island stampede killed at least 351 people, in the wake of another 4 victims has passed away on this sunday.
According to the press statement released from Cambodia Welfare Minister Yi Shen Xing, the number of death has risen to become 351 people, including 129 men, 222 women.
He pointed out that, the new death including 2 people were from the seriously injured in hospital, another 2 is passed away in home and reported by their family members.
He revealed, there were 394 people still in Phnom Penh hospital. Each of them will receive 100 million Riel ( about 250 U.S dollars) pensions from Cambodia government.
Despite of this, in order to facilitate the dependent of the deceased and the injured victims to receive their pensions and other assistance payments, the government will arrange them to open bank account in ACLEDA Bank.
